Fall Color Report | Scenic Southern Utah has the following fall color updates;
High Elevation – Alpine Brian Head, Cedar Breaks and Panguitch Lake
Percent of Change:PEAK
Color Report:Leaf peepers are reporting that as the weather has continued to cool and with rain in the forecast on Saturday the majority of the leaves in the high elevation will most likely not survive the weekend. There are still a few nice patches of color and we will be sure to get an updated look at these areas next week after the storm. Please be sure to check back for further updates.Mid Elevation – Sub-Alpine Parowan Canyon and Cedar Canyon Area
Percent of Change:MODERATE
Color Report:Leaf watchers are reporting that the leaves in the mid elevation are changing in the Woods Ranch area, several of the aspen groves have turned vibrant yellow and as the weather continues to cool and with a storm forecasted this weekend more colors will continue to appear in the mid elevation. Low Elevation – High Valley Cedar City and Kolob Canyons Area
Percent of Change:LOW
Color Report:Reports are predicting that the leave in the low elevations will start changing mid to late October. However please check back in for regular updates.
