Landers/Giant Rock, CA Wildflower Report 2/25/14

DesertUSA  has  wildflower report for the Landers/Giant Rock area in Southern California

Everything that was blooming last week is still blooming, but in greater numbers, plus there were some new things blooming: Wallace’s wooly daisy, Fremont’s pincushion, Desert chicory and dandelions, a Gila and a Lotus sp., Thick-leaved ground cherry, purple mat, chia, and Bajada lupine. It’s a pretty good show given how parched we are. With the rain coming, well, it can only get better, right? Post includes photos of White tidy tips, Wallace’s wooly daisy, and Bajada lupine.
