Sequoia National Park Wildflower Update 3/23/13

There is a new wildflower report for Sequoia National Park on the Calphoto Yahoo discussion forum:

I drove via 198 into the Park today. Near Kawaeah the show starts with Bush Poppies, Lupines, and a whole bunch of others. The flowers are in waves and blankets both outside and inside the park. There is no snow at all on the Eastern side of the park – almost summer like conditions, while the West side has some snow, nothing like what you would expect for this time of the year. Morro Rock was open (they now restrict driving up there in summer) and offered for some amazing sunset views.
