Highway 140 Into Yosemite Reopens – Updated 8/30/11

Highway 140 has reopened but there is still slow due to ongoing one way traffic from slide repairs.  The fire is still ongoing.  Closed campgrounds have  reopened  and evacuated residents have been allowed to return. Read update at Reuters  Evacuations lifted, road reopened near Yosemite fire

– DUE TO SLIDE REPAIRS
