Get Plant and Flower Seeds at Bayview Branch!

Bayview Branch has unveiled a temporary Seed Library for 2024! Now you can visit three SFPL locations to get free seeds suited to your micro-climate. Head over to Bayview, Portola or Potrero Branch to select seeds of your very own. Plant and grow them in your garden, then bring seeds back after harvest for the next neighbor to use. No library card required. Over time, each Seed Library will have a selection of seeds that are best suited to each community since they have grown to full fruition, responding to the local soil and climate.
