9  State Parks To Visit In Southern California 

TravelAwaits has an article on nine state parks to visit in Southern California. It includes descriptions of each park and tips on visiting including best times to go. Parks in the article are

  1. Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve
  2. Saddleback Butte State Park
  3. Malibu Creek State Park
  4. Anza-Borrego National Park
  5. Mount San Jacinto State Park
  6. Crystal Cove State Park
  7. San Onofre State Beach

The parks selected represent the region’s biodiversity and start in north Los Angeles County, move east to the Inland Empire, and then continue south to Orange and San Diego Counties.
