The Wildflower Capitol of Colorado

Crested Butte is the considered the Wildflower Capitol of Colorado.  It is surrounded by the Elk Mountains and the Gunnison National Forest.  Crested Butte is the site of an annual wildflower festival.   This year’s festival is July 5 to 14.
