Marin CNPS has a posting from a hike at Phoenix Lake in the Tamalpais watershed.
It was glorious, clear and perfect! Dodecatheon/Shooting Stars, Fritillaria affinis/Checker lilies, Tongue, Pedicularis densiflora, Ranunculus californicus/Buttercups, Cynoglossum grande/Hound’s, Spring Gold, some mushrooms, including Coriolus Versicolor, and Trillium ovatum.The Fetid Adder’s Tongue lilies have already made little fruits, looking like tiny snake heads.
