Death Valley Wildflowers 2/5/19

It won’t be a “superbloom” for spring 2019, but the wildflowers that do bloom will be super! Sadly the park did not receive the early season rains that were needed to see this phenomenon happen. We are still below normal for rainfall, even though it seems as if we have gotten quite a lot! If you are planning a spring trip, don’t worry, there will be wildflowers blooming, just not the widespread carpets that we see during a “superbloom,” (which happens on average once a decade!) How can you see the wildflowers that will be here? https://www.nps.gov/deva/learn/nature/wildflowers.htm
