In addition to Nick’s talk, ideas for other talks include one by Naomi and/or others on the San Bernardino Mountain buckwheats and another by someone in the Eriogonum Working Group on current research on buckwheats (e.g., Peter Pearman and/or Travis Columbus).

If you have not yet reserved lodging while at the meeting, consider the options provided by Naomi Fraga ( see the website, )

Also, the ES Newsletter edited by Janel Johnson, will be released shortly.  Look for more information about the meeting, a few plant profiles, and announcement of our first James L. Reveal Grant awardee.  The newsletter will be on the website,

Consider gathering seed for the Seed Exchange – James Swayne has stepped down and John Weiser is now our seedex manager.  John has some suggestions that you may be interested in.  More information on the Seed Exchange will be found in the newsletter.
