April 14, 2017 – The 2017 superbloom wildflower season is still on in the Carrizo Plain National Monument, and there are still many good areas to see wildflowers. Joshua Tree NP, Mojave Desert and Anza Borrego DSP have had cooler weather and wildflowers and cactus are still in bloom at the higher elevations. Nevada and Utah are now blooming. During the week is the best time to visit the desert.
