Joshua Tree National Park has posted a new wildflower report of for 4/18/14. They report:
Joshua tree blooms and Mojave yucca blooms are declining. Various species of cactus are blooming throughout the park, look for the pink blooms of the beavertail prickly pear cactus (Optunia basilaris var. basilaris) along the north entrance. Annual wildflower blooms are scattered throughout the park in low abundance.
