Natural History Wanderings

Texas Wildflower Haven has the following report in their Ennis and Dallas/Ft. Worth section:

I went by the Oak Point nature preserve in Plano this week. Driving by, I can see the specific green color of the rosettes starting to be seen but the plants are still very small. They are definitely coming later to north Texas than usual. We should be getting some rain today. Hopefully more will come as our weather warms up.
