Today I went to the UC Berkeley Botanical Garden to see the garden’s winter look. It was a combination of looking at Manzanita, foliage, landscape, water droplets and trees. It is a time to appreciate the more subtle aspects of the garden. I had two Newt sightings in the Pond. I met a birding friend on the way in and she said it was a slow day for birds. I didn’t really look for birds today but I did see and hear California Towhees, Spotted Towhees, Anna’s Hummingbirds and a Black Phoebe.
