There was a new report for fall color at Hope Valley this morning on the Calphoto discussion group:

Sorenson’s Resort ….said that there is a lot of good color right now.  Not at its peak, but beautiful.  Some of the best places are right around Sorenson’s, the corner of Hwy 88 and 89, along the Carson River.
