Daniel Mosquin from Botany Photo of the Day (see previous posting), and I spent the afternoon the UC-Berkeley Botanical Garden. The south African section is especially colorful now. There are many colorful California Poppies. Bloom continues to increase throughout the garden. As there was a very bright sun, I used a diffuser for close-up photo,a polarizer where it could help, and looked for shade where I could find it. Here are the results:
