Fritillaries, Trilliums. First Calochortus & More -updated 3/21/13

To see large file high quality photos from today go to: Regional Parks Botanic Garden 3/19/13

Today I went to the Regional Parks Botanic Garden, Tilden Park, Berkeley. It is my favorite local spot to see and photograph many native plants. I was disappointed to see the Adobe Lilies were already finished blooming but pleased to see how many other flowers were in bloom. Fritilliaries, Alliums, Trilliums, Wallflowers, Wild Currants, Star Lilies, Shooting Stars, Redbuds, California Poppies and even the first Calochortus I have seen this year are all in flower. It was also a good day for flower photography as it was bright diffuse light from the light cloud cover.
