Yosemite National Park reported on one of the most positive stories of the year.
A young Junior Ranger practiced the policy of leaving nature undisturbed and not taking anything from the park. When she arrive home she realized she had accidentally taken two sticks from the park. She mailed the two sticks back to Yosemite attached to the following letter .
Dear Park Rangers,
I am a Yosemite Junior Ranger. I went to Yosemite recently and accidentally brought home two sticks. I know I’m not supposed to take things from the park, so I am sending them back. Please put them in nature.Thank you,
A photo of the letter is on Yosemite’s official Facebook Page with this explanation: “The rangers that answer the phone and mail in our public information office receive a lot of letters, but this might be one of the best in recent years.”
