Just posted today on CALBIRDS Yahoo Group: “The FALCATED DUCK is back!” A Falcated Duck has been sited at the Colusa National Wildlife Refuge; the same place where one was seen last winter. Here is a rather poor photo I took of the duck last winter. You might want to contact the refuge for confirmation that it is still there before going up to see it.
