Visiting North Coast Redwood Country

North Coast Redwood Parks

The Redwood National and State Parks (RNSP) are on the North Coast of California in Del Norte and Humboldt Counties.  They include Redwood National Park and Del Norte Coast, Jedediah Smith, and Prairie Creek Redwoods State Parks.  The total combined area is 133,000 acres.  They include 45% of the remaining Coastal Redwood (Sequoia sempervirens) and thirty-seven miles of coastline.  The parks preserve native flora, fauna, and grassland prairie.
