When I got up this morning it was foggy so I was hoping for diffuse light to saturate the fall colors. I dashed up to the UC-Berkeley Botanical Garden to be there at opening. However, the sun was starting to come through and large overall photos would have been washed out or had more too much contrast. Fortunately, many parts of the Asian Garden, which is my favorite fall color spot in Berkeley, were still in shade and did allow for some nice fall color shots. An added bonus was I had the garden almost to myself.
