Superior National Forest Fall Color Finished 10/18/12

Superior National Forest reported on 10/18/12:

Only 0-5% of leaves are still on the trees.  The patches of color that remain though stand out against the background of bare trees and evergreens.  Predicted good weather and fewer visitors may make this an excellent time to visit the late fall forest and enjoy the golden tamaracks.
