While driving and hiking in Cevennes and Grand Causses in France, I kept a list of the birds I was able to identify.. The areas I was in included Causse Mejean; Causse du Larzac; Lapanouse; Le Rozier, Gorges de la Jonte, and the Gorges du Tarn. The biggest highlight was seeing Griffon Vultures. This was the first time I recorded a Chiffcaff. I probably have seen it before but never identified it or wrote it down. The House Sparrow and Common Raven are the same as the ones I see at home in the U.S.
