San Bernardino National Forest Wildflower Bloom Report

DesertUSA had a wildflower report for the San Bernardino National Forest

Took a trip to Lost Lake in lower Cajon Pass and up Swarthout Canyon. Then did some 4WD side trips from Lone Pine Canyon, up 3N31 to Gobbles Knob and back down 3N29. I was surprised to see many flowers blooming. Here is a short list of what we saw. Many Blooming Yucca, Delphinium, Penstemon, Cal Flannelbush, and a few Prickly Poppy and Bush Poppy.
