Spring is waterfall season

As the rainy season ends and snow melt starts, waterfalls run at their fullest. Today’s posting has lists of web and book resources for visiting, hiking, photographing and enjoying California Waterfalls.

This is an updated and expanded posting of an article I originally posted on May 7, 2010 (Best N. 1. You don’t include the Uvas Canyon County Park where there is a waterfall hike trail with four waterfalls to view and a creek along the trail. This park is located in the hills between San Jose and Gilroy The only concern is parking in the park. They aren’t huge waterfalls, but they are nice to view and photograph.
