Carrizo Plain National Monument posted the following wildflower report

Wildflower Status March 27, 2012 – We did receive some rain over the last week, however due to low rainfall this year, we are not expecting a nice bloom this year.  There are no fields of wildflowers on the Monument; there are a few wildflowers but they are very sparse so far.
