The New York Times reports on the discovery of a new species of Leopard Frog in New York City. Discovered in “wilds” of Staten Island. They have also been found in Meadowlands, and Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge in N.J., Orange and Putnam counties in New York and central Connecticut.
