Redwood Regional Park Wildflower Report 3/1/12

Jack Bowers submitted the following wildflower bloom report for Redwood Regional Park in Oakland, CA :
  • At Skyline gate the planted Ceanothus  were in full bloom.
  • On Golden Spike trail there were many Fritillary plants, but only a single green blossom.
  • French trail where it terminates at the West Ridge, the Leatherwood were full of their tiny yellow flowers..
  • 2 types of Ribes were in bloom
