Seismographs Used To Track Fin Whales

Science Now reports seismologists have discovered they are able to track the songs of Fin Whales. Little had been know about the second largest whale as they stay far mainly off shore in deep waters. Their social habits, breeding grounds and seasonal migration routes have been somewhat of a mystery. Using existing seismic detectors that are on the ocean floor to pick up their song  Fin Whales travels can be tracked and studied.
