Shasta Cascade Region Fall Color Update 11/10/11

California Fall Color just posted a new report for the Shasta Cascade Region. They report that the fall color is past peak at high elevation, at peak mid elevations and starting at lower elevations.  Here is their report for percent color in each area.

  • 30-50%- Butte County
  • 50-75% – Whiskeytown National Recreation Area
  • 75-100%- Burney Falls State Park
  • 75-100%- Bizz Johnson Trail
  • 75-100%- Mt. Shasta
  • 75-100%- Weaverville
  • Past peak Plumas County-
  • Past Peak Modoc County
  • Past peak –  Lassen Volcanic National Park (main road is Open – Icy conditions persist, Get current road conditions: http://www.nps.gov/lavo/planyourvisit/current_conditions.htm)
