The Sacramento Bee has an article on the top places to see fall foliage in the Sacramento Region: Top 10 places for fall leaf color in the Sacramento region. It is still early for this region and most places are showing only the beginnings of fall color. They will be publishing color updates in Fall Leaves 2011 gallery. The article also identifies residential areas where you can see good fall color now.
