Natural History Wanderings

Updated 9/19/11 (plant names added)

I went to the UC Botanical Garden (Berkeley,CA) today to see if the fall color had started.  It was just beginning and sun was bright so it was not a good day to photograph trees.  Instead I did close-ups of leaves and flowers. Thanks to Paul Licht Garden Director and Chris Carmichael Associate Director of Collections and Horticulture at the UC Botanical Garden for their help with id’s on the flowers that were unsigned  Here are a few photos.
