Natural History Wanderings

I headed up to the UC Botanical Garden (Berkeley,CA) but the parking lot was full due to a wedding. A quick detour took me over to the Regional Parks Botanic Garden at Tilden Park where I have been last week.  There were still many Clarkias in bloom.  Along with the many other late season bloomer the Goldenrods also got my attention. There was even the beginnings of fall color. Here are a few photos
