Theodore Payne just published it s weekly reporting on a number of southern California wildflower spots. They are recommending Anza Borrego and Whitewater Canyon Preserve for desert wildflowers; Harford Springs Wildlife Preserve and the Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve for chocolate lilies (Fritillaria biflora).
