Calls for action and goals set at UN conference to preserve loss of biodiversity, but are they enough?

The UN biodiversity talks mentioned in earlier post (20% of all Plant and Animal Species Threatened with Extinction) have been concluded with a call for immediate action, but conservation scientists believe the targets for preservation were set too low.  Political and economic concerns may have led to diluting the final conference goals.  To read more go to the BBC article: Biodiversity talks end with call for ‘urgent’ action.
