The Carson Pass Visitor Center reports: “Flowers are beautiful on the Meiss side right now and I would imagine July 30th for the Carson side. Even though it is later this year it is very beautiful.” Meiss Lake is north of the Pass across the highway from the Visitor’s Center. The Carson side is the trail out to Frog and Winnemucca Lakes.
