Fall Color Reports for this weekend – Updated 10/21/11

The Sacramento Bee says this is the weekend to go if you want to see fall color this year.  They report that the highlights are:

  • Hope Valley  to Bishop Creek
  • Highway 89 along the East Carson River  to Monitor Pass
  • Conway Summit
  • Lundy Canyon
  • Lee Vining Canyon
  • June Lake – top destination for this weekend
  • Mountain Glen area of South Fork Bishop Creek to Four Jefferies
  • North Fork Bishop Creek,Cardinal, Aspendell and Intake 2
