Visit Kern has published a new wildflower report saying that this has been a short wildflower season due to a wet winter favoring native grasses over flowers. They report the best bloom is at Carrizo Plain and there are still some Owl’s Clover and Goldfields in the Kern River Valley. Read the full report and more details at Recent Sightings.
