Natural History Wanderings

The Sierra Nevada Conservancy, a California State Agency, is seeking a highly motivated individual who has strong analytical skills and experience to conduct outreach to and engage with California Native American tribes in and from the Sierra Nevada Region and to support project development and funding administration.

The Department’s Tribal Engagement and Grants Analyst performs more responsible and complex assignments. The position requires frequent travel throughout the 25-million-acre Sierra Nevada Region. Approximately 40 percent of time may be spent engaging in the field.

The position is eligible for up to 100% telework but will be required to report to an SNC office for periodic mandatory meetings.
