Antelope Valley Wildflowers 3/15/19

Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve Bloom update as of March 15, 2019:

There are nice displays of poppies and other wildflowers, especially on the east side of the park and on south-facing slopes. Poppies, forget-me-nots, slender keel fruits, goldfields, filarees, pygme lupins, fiddlenecks, and Joshua trees are blooming. The lacy phacelias are starting to bloom, and many painted ladies (butterflies) are enjoying the feast.
