Organ Pipe National Monument Wildflowers 3/27/18

Desert globemallow (Sphaeralcea ambigua) can be seen blooming around or within creosote and brittlebush. Globemallow grows well in alkaline soil, which is why it is often see alongside creostoe bushes.
