Ouray to Telluride – 85%-0%
Areas with Greatest Amount of Color / Recommended Viewing Areas: Most areas are past peak color and have lost most leaves at this time. Creek and river canyons below 8000 feet.
Estimated Peak Viewing Period: Past peak for most aspen. Some good riverside colors still visible in places
Viewing Suggestions / Tips: Individual stands can still be going but otherwise follow the rivers for cottonwoods and willows.
Trees That Are Currently Turning Color: Cottonwoods and willows are best right now. Some choke cherry, service berry, and Box Elder trees.
