A slideshow of a wildflower trip I did in the Sierra Nevada Foothills from March 24 to March 31, 2017. It was the areas east and west of highway 49 between Mariposa and Jackson. It included Redbuds along highway 120, Hite Cove, Red Hill Road, Ward’s Ferry Road, Eureka Rd. and more.
We mainly used Toni Fauver’s book “Wildflower Walks and Roads of the Sierra Gold Country”.

SEEKING VAST FIELDS OF WILDFLOWERS FOR A PHOTO SHOOT!
We are seeking a vast field of vibrant colored wildflowers that will be in bloom on June 6th somewhere in Northern California (!).
This is for a Natural Vitamin Photography Ad and the date cannot be moved. That said what is in bloom for sure this year June 6th?
We would also consider irrigated flower farms, preferably flat with orange and yellow flowers as far as
the eye can see. (In a perfect world☺
The clients ideally would like yellow or orange colors but of course we are open to all blooms and colors.
Thank you for sending any pictures, ideas or contacts!
