Jepson Prairie Wildflowers 4/16/16

The Solano Land Trust Flickr group reports on Jepson Prairie

The Docent’s triangle (Public area) is has begun to diminish in bloom. The tours this morning hiked down to Buck and enjoyed a profusion of vernal pool flora. Goldfields, Meadowfoam, Plagiobothrys/popcorn flower (greenei, stipitatus) Downingia (concolor, bella, pusilla), Ordegon timwort (Cicendia), Psilocarphus (brevissimus, chilensis), Vernal pool Castilleja, Triteleia, Yarrow, Granola heterosepala.
