Natural History Wanderings

Fill your garden with beautiful, drought-tolerant California natives at the annual Native Plant Sale hosted by the Regional Parks Botanic Garden. The sale, one of our most popular events of the year, will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 16 at the Botanic Garden in Tilden Park in Berkeley, CA.  Friends of the Botanic Garden can begin shopping at 9 a.m. Trees, shrubs, groundcovers, perennials, grasses, bulbs, ferns and annuals – all propagated from the Garden collection – will be among the offerings. Volunteers will be available for gardening advice. Cash, credit cards and checks accepted. Bring your own boxes or a cart to collect your purchases. The Garden is located at the intersection of Wildcat Canyon Road and South Park Drive in Tilden Regional Park.
