Mt. Tam Wildflowers 4/10/16

The Marin CNPS Facebook page had the following wildflower report for  a Mt. Tam hike

The Coastal Trail from Pantoll. Did a loop including Cataract, Laurel Dell, Old Mines. What a show. Flowers are blooming in profusion. All of the fog and mist just added to the beauty. Saw 8 Calypso orchids, lots of Hound’s Tongue, some Coral Root, and lots of delphinium (Spreading larkspur?), mule ear and of course, beloved poppies.

Thank you for bringing the beauty to us. It’s going to be a year with more time spent outside enjoying it!
