Wild! In Alameda

Today I went to the Wild! In Alameda  program celebrating the City of Alameda” rich heritage of wildlife. Although the program was only today the wildlife photographic exhibit of birds and other wildlife continues. , All  photographs were taken in the City of Alameda by local wildlife photographers. The  exhibit runs from February 28 to May 28, 2016 in the Stafford Meeting Rooms of the Alameda Main Library at 1550 Oak Street in Alameda. Free and available for viewing when the library is open – just ask the front desk to open the room. Learning worksheet available at front desk.

After the program we went to the Fruitvale bridge where we just missed the Peregrine Falcons that nest there. We also went to Alameda Point where we saw one Harbor Seal and 14 different bird species.
