Oregon Wildflowers has two new reports for the Columbia River Gorge
Cape Horn Hikers report that Trillium, Salmonberry, and Bleeding Hearts are blooming along the trail. No word about the famed larkspur display (Delphinium trolliifolium), although I expect that it is much too early for that.
Eagle Creek Wildflowers have started blooming along this trail. In particular, there are hundreds of glacier lilies (Erythronium grandiflorum) blooming between mileposts 3 and 4. However, please note that the trail is officially closed at milepost 2.0 because of winter damage to the Tish Creek bridge, just beyond the Punch Bowl Falls upper viewpoint. (I am not going to suggest fording Tish Creek because I do not want to be held liable for any injuries.)
