Regional Parks Botanic Garden Photos 3/27/16-updated

Photos from today at the Regional Parks Botanic Garden in Tilden Park in Berkeley, CA. The garden is exclusively California Native Plants.

One of the more interesting plants I saw today was Fritillaria brandegeei (Greenhorn Fritillary) This species of Fritillary is endemic to California and  known from only Kern and Tulare Counties. It grows in open forests at elevations of 1500–2100 m.
