The University and Jepson Herbaria of the University of California, Berkeley announced a number of great new wildflower resources
We are pleased to announce two new initiatives:
- The Jepson eFlora now has a feature that allows users to simplify plant identification with the online application KeyBase, which allows users to key plants that occur within specified Jepson bioregions.
- The University and Jepson Herbaria Image Collection Portal now contains digital images for vascular plants and seaweeds. Images will be included in the Jepson eFlora and the online Seaweed Flora of California. The images are also available for use in other projects.
We are also pleased to announce Revision 3 of the Jepson eFlora including:
- Newly described, native taxa
- Taxa recently recognized as naturalized
